Today we met our friends, Samantha and Liam, and Andrea, Carter, and Ava at Play a Latte in Gig Harbor. We had so much fun talking and drinking coffee. Carter was the only one who was actually playing, but I know the little ones will have a lot of fun there one day. It was nice to finally have Andrea and Samantha meet. All three of our babies are very close in age from 2 1/2 months to 3 1/2 months. AnnMarie is right in the middle at 3 months. For a little while AnnMarie was able to sit up on the couch all by herself, until she decided she would rather be held. Carter was running around playing on everything, he was so cute to watch. Ava and AnnMarie were busy flirting with Liam. The babies are all starting to talk and laugh, it was so fun. We'll definitely have to hang out again soon!

Nathan's Birthday
On Saturday, we had a fun time at our cousin, Nathan's birthday. AnnMarie got to meet a lot of new babies, including her cute baby cousin, Jillian. AnnMarie had so much fun she fell asleep in Jillian's swing. It was fun to watch Nathan open his presents, and we could tell he was having lots of fun. William also had lots of fun playing with Nathan's toys. It was a long day for AnnMarie, and she slept very well that night.

Long walks
Today was an exciting day for AnnMarie and me. We first started our day meeting Andrea and Ava at Taco Time for lunch. We then decided to go walking along Chamber's Bay. We thought about walking the whole long walk, but decided maybe next time. It was a beautiful day for walking, and although windy, we became hot very fast. After finishing the almost 3 mile walk, Andrea and Ava had to go home.
We drove home too, but our walking wasn't done. I decided to see if I could make it to my mom's house, only 1.6 miles away. The first two minutes were full of hills, mostly steep downhill, but still a workout. I (we) made it to my mom's house in just under 30 minutes. I was sore and tired when I got there, so we stayed for about an hour and a half. I thought I was ready to walk back home, but about 2 minutes into the walk, I realized maybe we should have gotten a ride home. I decided to push through. I didn't realize there were so many hills on the way home. It seemed like no matter which way I tried to go to avoid a hill, there would be another, more steeper hill. I should have just gone back the way I came. At least there was only one very steep, but short hill. The route I chose had at least 3 steep hills, including one very long hill that seemed to go on forever. This was a mistake. I will never choose that route again. Heck I may never decide to walk home from my mom's again. I think I 'll take the ride thank you very much!
After what seemed liked forever, we made it home, in just under an hour this time. I'm now very tired, and will probably not be able to walk in the morning. But we enjoyed the sunshine, so it was worth it. AnnMarie is now wide awake, she slept the whole walk. Luckily she's playing under her play mat, so I can rest for just a few minutes at least.

Good Morning Sunshine
AnnMarie did it again, she was just so happy waking up this morning. Kicking and cooing in her crib when I went in to get her. She continued to play and talk under her play mat. She even let me get the coffee started and brush my teeth. After a few minutes of playing she remembered she was hungry and the crying began. After her bottle she went back to playing. She's getting so fun to watch!

Meeting Auntie Brown Pam
What a wonderful day AnnMarie had! Auntie Pam came from Arizona for a visit, and we got to spend the day with her. AnnMarie was such a good baby, she was awake and playful the whole day! It was so nice to catch up with Auntie Pam. We also got to see Grandma Carol and Steph. We hope to see them all again soon.

Playing with Liam
Yesterday AnnMarie had her first playdate with her friend Liam. She had so much fun playing under his playmat with him. She was awake all day, so when she got home she fell asleep in her swing. I wish I had pictures, next time I'll definately take some! They are so cute together.

Swinging
I put AnnMarie in her swing, and she couldn't stop staring at the mobile. She was so fascinated with the spinning flowers above her head. She continued staring at them until they magically put her to sleep.
Sitting Up
I just bought a Bumbo for AnnMarie. Today I decided to have her try it out. She was kind of leaning backwards, but she did pretty well!
